Dare Cinema is a website about making cool visual content and survival as a filmmaker. But don't worry, I don't take myself too seriously, plenty of irreverent nonsense to be found throughout.

DTLA. Not the old stomping grounds that it used to be. Amazing how much downtown has improved from when I used to skateboard down these streets. Playing around with #canonrp and the #canonmacro100mm just to shake some dust off the creative gears. #canonphotography Sometimes bored kids make good photographic subjects. Alexandria. #canon5dmarkiv and #canon2470mm . Your children are a little like personal time machines. They let you look into the past, value the present and also give you hope for the future. Was nice to get out and shoot again. Katherine. #canon5dmarkiv and #canon2470mm . I’m usually much more a fan of the 85 1.4 for single person portraits, but a little natural light and a natural beauty goes a long way to making a telling portrait. Xochimilco scenery. Enjoyed a morning with the family on the lake of Xochimilco. Got to shoot with the #canon5dmarkiv and #canon2470mm however I’ll definitely bring the 70 to 200 along for the ride next time. Super honored to be a judge for the Excio photo competition! @excionz @nzp_magazine and so excited to see all the incredible photos! When your daughter says “Dad take a photo of me!” and suddenly you realize how fleeting and precious time is. The classic “sitting on the tree stump thinking deep thoughts” pose. This trip I really got to warm up to the Canon 85mm 1.4 lens. It’s a fantastic lens, a little pricey, but the bokeh, colors, image stabilization, AF speed and buil Yosemite does make for a stunning backdrop for a stunning woman. If you’ve never been, it is definitely a place which will make even the most hardened soul appreciate just how beautiful our world can be. #canonphotography #yosemitenationalpark
